Top Stories

• Successful Season
  Following a great summer, a Garden Tea Party and Garden Faire, the group met again October 21, 2008 for their annual meeting and to make plans for next year. Officers were elected and dates set - more on that later.
• Site Opening
  GBGSociety.org goes live!
  We still have work to do, but March 31, 2008 the site went live on the web.
• Committees Meeting
  Garden Tea Committee, Garden Faire Committee, Publicity Committee
  These three main committees have been meeting and working hard. On each committee, there has been a careful breakdown of duties among the members so that no one person is tasked with too much work. Through it all, a handbook is being compiled of the work this year, so next year, if the same events are staged, a lot of the planning will already be done.

  GBGSociety forms
  The first meeting of the society was October 25, 2007 at University Baptist Church's Fellowship Hall. By-laws were approved and officers elected.
