Georgeson Botanical Garden Society

The Society was formed in 2007 to address the need for active support for the Georgeson Botanical Garden. The group hopes to unite volunteers and friends of the Garden through various fun, educational, and fundraising activities to support the various horticultural programs of the Garden.

Upcoming Events:

Victorian Tea Party Fundraiser, June 26, 2011 (last Sunday in June). This was our major fund raiser for GBG and it was a roaring success, despite the drizzle. Thank you for your support!

    • Adult tickets were $40, and included a complimentary porcelain tea cup.
    • A child ticket was $10, no cup.

We encouraged people to come in costume and many did. While costumes were encouraged, they were not required to attend and everyone was welcome! We enjoyed "tea and crumpets" in the garden on Sunday, June 26, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Board of GBGS meets the third Tuesday of the month in the GBG classroom at 2 p.m. All members are invited to attend any board meeting.

    Volunteer Orientation

Who: For all new volunteers, wannabe new volunteers...or those of you who haven't been around in a while and want a refresher.
